A Simple Life - Harmony, Minnesota

On Labor Day weekend Mike and I went out of town - we drove to Harmony, Minnesota.  It is located in the far southeast corner of Minnesota and is home to the largest Amish community in the state.  It is home of the Historic Bluff Country.  We drove around to a couple different Amish homes and purchased some homemade jams and syrups.  We even got a jar of pickled Watermelon rinds.  As I write this I think wow it would be neat to live a life like that - with no worries ect. - but then i realize that I would not have the ability to write this blog, keep in touch with friends from afar ect.  Of course the old fashioned way - stamps and an envelope would work too - but it is too late to go back.  Here is a layout i did about the Amish - Simple Life.
